Rev. Sunny Chang

Interim Associate Pastor for Children

The Rev. Sunny Chang has been involved in ministry for over 10 years with a Masters in Divinity from Union Theological Seminary and a Masters in Family Studies with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary.  She has worked with children, youth, young adult, middle age and senior adult ministry and also spent 2.5 years in Korea working with Korean natives, expats, and international seminarians from all over the world. Her last ministry was with a nurturing and wonderful, intergenerational/multi-cultural community in Long Beach, CA.  Pastor Sunny enjoys interacting with people and her appreciation of the richness and the depth of our faith grows as she continues to learn and experience more of life. Though she considers the greater Los Angeles area home, she has southern roots from growing up in NC and looks forward to good food and fellowship in Texas!  She is especially curious to see how the Mexican cuisine in Houston compares to LA.
